GameCube WaveBird
The virtual pairing setup was a total non-issue for me, it just worked on the first try and my WaveBird connected instantly. Compared to the old official receiver this thing is tiny, and I've had zero drops in a week of play.
Virtual pairing is a total game-changer—no more hunting for those tiny sync switches. Plugged it in, hit the channel button, and my WaveBird was connected in seconds. Even better, the latency feels identical to the official receiver, so it's perfect for Super Smash Bros.
My dusty GameCube works again and the controller connects flawlessly every time. The virtual pairing means I don't have to fiddle with physical buttons on the receiver, just sync and play. Took me under a minute to set up, and no lag during a full Mario Kart session.
