Four friends came over for Smash Bros and this base let us plug in all our old GameCube controllers at once with zero fuss. The way it inserts into the Switch dock and sits like a podium is honestly a nice touch, makes the setup look clean on the TV stand.
Took it out of the box, slid it into the dock, and my four old GameCube controllers were recognized instantly—no fiddling or adapters needed. The podium design actually looks pretty slick sitting under the Switch, like the controllers are on display for a match.
The whole setup takes under a minute since it slides right into the dock, and having all four ports facing up is a total game-changer for our Smash nights. My old controllers finally feel like they have a proper home instead of tangled wires everywhere.
