Snagged this bracket after fumbling with the clips, and the fit is exactly right, no wobble on the drive door at all. It keeps everything flush and secure now that the ODE’s in. Not much to say beyond that it just does its job perfectly.
Installing my ODE took all of five minutes once I had this bracket in place—the door actually stays shut now instead of flopping open. It’s a simple piece of plastic but it does exactly what it’s supposed to, and that’s all I needed.
Installing an ODE usually means dealing with a floppy door, but this bracket locks the CD lid down to the bottom shell so firmly it feels like part of the chassis. Fit is precise, no rattling even with the console upside down mid-install.
