Cappy is a major character in Super Mario Odyssey. He is Mario's main ally throughout the game, and assists him in various ways. Along with his little sister Tiara, Cappy is a Bonneter originally from the Cap Kingdom and joins Mario in order to rescue her after she is kidnapped by Bowser.
The stitching around his eyes is clean and sturdy, so he holds up well to being tossed around during play. I like how the cap shape sits naturally on his head, and he’s become a regular sidekick on my desk while I work.
The stitching around his eyes is really clean, and he sits up perfectly on my shelf next to my Switch. He’s a great little reminder of the game, and the plush is soft enough that I keep picking him up just to hold him.
He’s a good size for cuddling and the little hat fits just right, though I wish the fabric felt a bit softer on the inside. The design captures the character’s look from the game pretty well, and he’s held up fine after a week on my shelf.
