Finally, my Atari 2600 powers on without that annoying buzzing from the old adapter—this one runs clean and quiet. It's a straightforward plug-and-play replacement, and the cable length is just right for my setup.
The brick is hefty and feels solid, and it powers up my 2600 instantly without any of the buzzing I got from my old adapter. Even after an hour of Pitfall, it stays cool to the touch. Exactly what I needed for a US console.
The blocky plug seats firmly into my old 2600's port, and the cord length gives me plenty of room to set up on the floor. My console fired right up on the first try with no buzzing or heat issues.
