Met deze kabel kun je de standaard 40mm-ventilator van de 3DO FZ-1 vervangen door een stille aftermarket-versie, zoals de Noctua 12v 40mm.

LET OP: Alleen de Noord-Amerikaanse FZ-1 werd geleverd met een voorgeïnstalleerde ventilator. PAL- en JP-modellen werden zonder ventilator geleverd en de header op het moederbord en de bijbehorende componenten ontbreken. Tenzij je die zelf wilt toevoegen, is deze kabel dus alleen geschikt voor Noord-Amerikaanse consoles die standaard met een ventilator zijn uitgerust.
