Plugged it into my AES and got Kizuna Encounter running in the 2-cable Neo4P mode without any fuss. The 1-cable option for 8-player is a nice bonus I haven't tried yet, but the build feels sturdy enough for a crowded couch.
The mode switch on the back is a lifesaver, let me tell you—flipping over to the 2-cable NeoTAP setup for NeoTRIS took seconds and worked flawlessly. My buddies and I hopped into an 8-player session via the 1-cable overserved mode last night; no lag, no fuss, just pure chaotic fun.
Went straight for the 1-cable mode with two multitaps and had 8 people fighting over Kizuna Encounter all night—no lag, no confusion, just pure chaos. The cable setup was simpler than I expected for something this old-school, and the 2-cable Neo4P mode handled the switch perfectly.
